Pope Francis said, "The Lord asks everything of us, and in return he offers us true life, the happiness for which we were created". Unfortunately, we are not always willing to do this. Sometimes it's our possessions that we cling to, but other times it's our: fears, unfair expectations, independence, even our wounds. If we want to be disciples of Jesus, we must learn to let these things go, to leave everything behind, and trust that our Lord will be enough. Franciscan Father Cole Casey, ordained in June, 2019 will lead this day of discernment and prayer, reflecting on being a disciple in our time. Fr. Casey has been very active using social media to evangelize through YouTube and his website (breakinginthehabit). He was the college chaplain at the University of Georgia and is now a chaplain at a high school in Macon, GA. Fr. Casey will give 2 talks starting at 9am with a break and time for small group sharing via the internet. The cost is $20 per person. To enroll, click the course title above...
